The Season Approaches…

August 21, 2009

It’s late August now and hot (and humid) in NYC. Central Park got hit with a strange thunder/wind storm that felled hundreds of decades old trees. And the just completed NYC Half featured dominating performances by Paula Radcliffe and Tadese Tola.

As a backdrop to all of this, preparations for the ING New York City Marathon continue. If you haven’t been lately, visit the official website, ingnycmarathon.org. We’ve posted new information about the start, the course, the expo, and lots more.

The participant handbook is here; the TV/Internet broadcast schedule here.

As we head into the Labor Day, brush up on your marathonese and start to get excited. Fall is almost upon us. ING New York City Marathon season approaches…
